Because of diversity we will excel.
Through inclusion we respect.
Focused on equity we serve, heal, educate and innovate.
The Mass General Department of Radiology Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee is committed to addressing disparities and enhancing equity in local communities. We have created radiology specific initiatives to ensure we do everything possible to address COVID-19 with community health as our foundation. We strive to continuously meet the needs of our diverse and multilingual populations while addressing critical social needs of our communities, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Who we are:
Founded in 2013, the MGH Radiology Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee is a community of physicians, trainees, technologists, nurses, and administrators dedicated to addressing long standing inequities in health and healthcare as well as the advancement of our workforce through collaboration, personal and professional enrichment, mentorship, and support.
Â
The DE&I Committee is organized into 4 subcommittees (Education, Workforce, Patient Experience, and Innovation), which span all aspects of the service and practice of radiology. With over 50 members, we continue to strive to promote equity in our practice and beyond.
All photos were taken pre-COVID-19.
